distributor bearings gone!!!

The defect has come true for me, and my original distributor bearings have now officially gone, and I am left with a cap full of brown dust. I called honda and they want $355 for a new distributor!
I was wondering if you could replace the bearings in the distributor, which honda said you cant, or if any of you have a distributor that is in good condition, as far as you know, that you could hook me up with for cheap.
First my radiator, now this, I'm gettin a little pissed off.
(But all in all, it has been a good car for me )

Do you hear the screeching noise? I have a small amount of dust inside my cap and my bearing is fine.

It's just a matter of time. Mine lasted all of 67000 miles

I got mine from Honda for 300 cash. They had it on the shelf and wanted to get rid of it. All Honda dealerships can cut deals but you just have to ask.

J - Yours will soon be gone.

Mine has the dust inside the cap too...I really hope the damn thing doesn't die. It's already been replaced once.

Now you guys are starting to scare the $hit out of me. My 92 Si has 160k miles on it and I've never replaced the distributor since I bought it 4 years ago. I just hope mine's in good condition :crossfingers:
