Distributor bearing size?

Can anyone who has replaced the distributor bearing tell me what size bearing you replaced it with? I've got a JDM 2.2 VTEC and the bearing's gone. I've been without my car for over a week now and I'm getting desperate!

The bearing is a Nachi 6001 for which I've got a replacement. However, the internal diameter of the replacement is 12mm but the shaft appears to be 12.5mm. I've spoken with a few bearing shops and they all say that there is no standard bearing with this size ID. They've offered 1/2" ID bearings, but these are 12.7mm and I guess that this will be too big? My only option at the moment seems to be to get the 12mm ID bearing machined out to 12.5mm. I'd prefer to get the correct bearing if at all possible, though.

If anyone can offer any advice it would be much appreciated. I'm getting serious VTEC withdrawal syndrome

Just a quick note to say that I've resolved the problem. The bearing is available. I spoke to Nachi in the UK who were able to tell me that they do make said 12.5 mm internal diameter bearing and were able to name a supplier (City Seals and Bearings in Sheffield for anyone who might be wondering).

I'd already tried to order one from them, but when I phoned them back to tell them that Nachi could supply them, they realised that they'd made an error in their order, which is why they thought they couldn't get hold of one.

Looks like I should be getting my VTEC fix by the weekend!
