well, its a 94 so you can imagine after all these years, and opening and closing of the sunroof, how dirty the rails and other related areas must be. And espcially since the rails the the sunroof slides along have grease on them, that only attracts more dust/dirt. So now its really dirt and i want to clean them, but not only are the rails hard to get to, I don't know how to clean it since there's grease all over it....

any ideas?

Take it off. Much easier to clean the rails when it is out of the way.

sunroof removal




any good grease remover/stipper should be good. Clean it all off any apply another thin layer of grease. Then you should be good to go.
