ok i wasn't worried about it before since temperatures have been low here, but now after my h22a swap, the engine is running hotter and my fans stay on after a 10+ minute trip
i have coolant spewing out onto the fans. i still have the stock h23 single row radiator. i was looking to get a little bit better radiator so i remember someone recommending csf as a good replacement w/o going big (c&r, koyo, fluidyne too $$ for me)
i found one at a site for 140 shipped but the catch is its for h23 models. i know i have a h22 but i mean getting a more efficent h23 one would help with cooling right? it would also mean i wouldn't have to do any modifications to the mounts and change fans.
what do you think?

Aluminum radiators are supposed to dissipate heat faster, so find one for your application which is aluminium. as far as remounting the fans, sometimes you gotta sacrafice bolt on ability to gain performance. Make up some new fan brackets?
I am speaking from experiance here, dont get the h23 radiator, it may cool fine for a while bu since it is only single row it will wear out very fast and you will be in the same boat within a year if not sooner, spend the cash adn the time and get something designed for the h22a.

+1 for his advice. do it once and do it right the first time.
I bought a replacement single row radiator from a site on the internet for about 140$ shipped, it came with a lifetime warenty. I had it on my car for 3 years before i sold the car and the radiator was still good.

Actually, its not a single row, its a 2-row and its almost 2" thick, I have it(well the F22 radiator) but its the same thing..
And copper is superior than aluminum when it comes to radiators/heatsinks/etc..
This radiator is copper/brass endtanks, same one I have.. works perfect for me, and honestly, my fan RARELY even cuts on when I cut the car off now..
^is it the one from radiatorbarn? or could you provide me a link?
cause if its a 2-row, then it will be just as good as a stock h22 one
Hmm I'm not sure about that, but I got mine off of ebay..
Be careful though because CSF makes 3 different radiators, a stock replacement(plastic end tanks/1 core), a performance (2 core all metal), and a race(2 core, aluminum welded)..
also make sure they use the same fans, because the H23 and F22 fans use different mounitng locations so i ended up having to get an F22 fan hehe..
