I was just wondering if it is possible to change the color of the digital gauges (Gas, Temp, clock). Has anyone ever done this. I want to change the color to a neon blue.
Also the RPM, MPH gauges, when the lights are on would it also be possible to change that green color to a blue without having to buy anouther back gauge. If I do, then I want to avoid the ones with the white back that turn blue at night. I'm trying to have only a few colors for my car.
There was a guy in off topic that can change all the interior lighting for you. The thread name was something like "ugly orange interior." You have to send him all the components that you want changed (gauge clusters etc.).
He had some pics of 5th gens that had done and it looks pretty good.
Speaking of digital gauges, are there any Preludes that have a digital speedometer/tach? More of a curiosity really - I like analog gauges, but why do some digital meters and some analog?

92-93 Preludes have the regular gauges and the 94-96 Preludes came through with electroeluminescent gauges which aren't exactly digital but they have a similar look to the gas and temp gauges.

you know where I can get the VTEC electroluminescent gauges from?
I had a 93 Si and after the swap I wanted the right gauges but I don't like the old 92-93 ones... know of any places?
No problem Jose. You might want to call the yard first to see if they even have any Preludes in their lot. I went to five yards in central Jersey to look for a few parts and none of them had a Prelude anywhere in sight. They all said, "We don't have anything that new here."
It was a huge waste of time driving all over the place and they didn't even have the car.
