Digital Dash short or ecu problem?

Alright, I have a 94 si with the digital dash. Periodically my digital dash will turn off (sometimes just the clock, sometimes the whole dash) and then will come back on seconds later. I have had the clock go out more often.. but it comes back on in a second or two usually. Now, I have had the whole dash turn off twice, and both times it was out for about 3-5 seconds.

Okay, so today, the clock was turning itself on and off about 3 times in a span of 10 minutes for a couple seconds each time. Normally the clock turns itself off for a couple seconds once a month on average. Then, I noticed my whole dash went out for about 3-5 seconds. When it came back on, my ABS light was on. I slammed on my brakes on the snow to see if the ABS truly wasn't working, and sure enough it wasn't.

So now here I am trying to figure out what the problem is. Do you guys think it's just a short somewhere (if you have an idea where, please tell!) or do you think the ECU needs to be checked to see if it's sending "improper" commands or something?

On a side note, I just installed a short ram intake and reset the ECU the other day. However, I don't see how this would be the problem since the dash has gone out a few times before I even had the intake installed on the car. Any help would be appreciated!

I used to have an 89 Nissan Maxima SE and it had leather and digi dash and all that ish even the heads up display (good thing too) sometimes my dash would go out. before i had the car it was the family car and the dash went out and it needed a whole new chip for the dash. a grand or something. then when i had it it went out on really cold days and well...thank god for the heads up display in the window other wise id be lookin at blank. no gas no tach NOTHING. so we traded it in and here i am today with my baby.
