Different Tire Sizes??

Ok, i just got my prelude the other day. i need some new tires for it, and i wanted to get falken ziex ZE-512s. my bro has them on his teg, and they r so nice, and they r cheap too. now the only problem is that they dont come in 215 50 R15. they do come in 205 and 225 though. i know that the 205s will strech the sidewall, giving me good response on the turns, but a smaller footprint for launches. and i know the 225s will gimme a better footprint, but give the sidewall more movement, taking away some of the response. what do you guys think i should get. thanks

I have Falken ziek ZE-512s on my front tires... they're 225/50 and they give me a good response on the road...

Wow. We can fit 225/50 on stock rims? I always thought doing so would throw off the car's speedometer and such?

ok, messed up. got 215 55 r15s on my lude. now what would be a best bet as far as handling is concerned and keeping the overall tire size the same or as close as possible:
205 55 R15
205 50 R15
225 50 R15
215 60 R15

im gonna guess the 205 55 r15 or the 225 50 r15s. i guess it kinda depends on if i wanna spend the xtra couple bucks per tire

this belongs in the wheel/tire forum, but stock size is 205/55R15, if that helps any.

and there really isn't a point of getting different size tires when the wheels are the same size all the way around.
