Different headlight conversion...

Over in off-topic, bolivianfuego found what he thought to be a four door Prelude...it turned out to be a Ascot Innova.

What do you 4th gen people think of the headlights? A direct swap? I like them because they have the black-housing, the amber corner and ion yellow center lights...Kind of like teh JDM Integras...

the corners are probably too big to fit
wont be that much work, but you could probably get somebody to make a plastic mold to make some fake jdms for less $

They do look similar to the JDM black housing assemblies but there is something that I don't like about them.

I would have to see how they lit up. Im am not a fan of the JDMs and their civic light bulbs. I want a low beam AND a high beam, not some stupid hybrid.
If they worked like the USDM housings, I would definatly consider it it they were somewhat of a direct fit, but I suspect they're not.

how can you not like the JDM Black Housing headlights, they are just badass....and as for needing a high beam??..if you hook up your H1 bulbs with a relay and foglight swicth...and then turn those on at night...good lord they are 10 times brighter than my old high beams ever were...peace

That's just a Civic, over here in the UK. I quite often glance at one coming towards me and think, "Ooh, Prelude!" Then I take a closer look and see, "No, it's just another Civic." Yes, the headlights are very similar; but, somehow, they're just not so nice as the Prelude's. They're not so aggressive, I think.
