the flang where the exhaust connects to the cat is a little different. All you need to do is take a drill and widen them a few mm's to make it work. Other then that nothing is different. I had a greddy PE exhaust from a vtec lude on mine and actually i have a stock vtec exhaust on my si.

Just gotta fit the holes in the flang so they are big enough

which holes do you mean when you say "widen them", the catalyst flange holes or the exmag's b-pipe flange holes? Sorry to dig this up from the grave, I've just heard opposing opinions stating that the exmag does and doesn't need to be modified for it to fit on an Si, so if it does, this can be the official how-to.

The flange on the end of the cat that connects to the mid-pipe is larger for the H23 than it is for the H22...so if you have an exhaust for the H22 VTEC, then you will have to widen the holes on the flange on the end of the midpipe that connects to the cat in order for it to fit the cat of an H23...

The holes on the flange of the exhaust, the part that bolts to the catalytic converter.

My RSR bolted right up to my H23 without any modification to the flanges. All the shop had to do was cut a little off the downpipe where it bolts to the cat because the exhaust was a little long.

that's all? Lol, how did they manage that, and where exactly do you make such a cut. I mean, if the flange on the down pipe needs to be retained because it bolts to the catalyst, then you have to cut behind it, somewhere between that flange and the otherside, which bolts up to the first part of the exhaust manifold. Also, after the cut, how did they seal it back up? Sorry, I'm confused, and that seems like a lot to do.
