The difference between 4th Gen stock bumpers?

I wanted to get some 4-piece clear bumper turn signal lights for my Lude. I looked on ebay and saw some postings for the 92-93 bumper and the 94-96 bumper. Then I saw postings for 92-96 4-piece clear bumper lights.

Now my car is a '94 Si, but it got into an accident and it's coming back from the bodyshop soon. The thing is, I don't know which year of Prelude bumper the bodyshop used to replace my original one.

Can somebody tell me what the difference is between the 92-93 and the 94-96 bumpers? I thought they were the same, but I guess not. Do I have to buy the specific 4-piece lights for the year of my bumper?

Thanks!

92-93 OEM bumper lights are all orange, OEM bmper lights from 94-96 are mostly clear with an orange reflector inside. I have heard of small differences in the mounting tabs, but never heard of any problems swapping years.

For lighting purposes I wouldn't worry about it. They are the same.

Now I have heard there are slight styling differences in the bumpers in 9X models. Any one else know about this?

why would he need a new bumper? he was asking to make sure the bumper lights he buys will fit.

Thanks for the replies guys! I'm glad to hear that there are no differences between the lights themselves.

I'll go ahead and keep an eye out for some lights on Ebay.

(chuckle)...Thanks Fast&furiuslude, but brendon2K's right, I don't need a bumper. I just wasn't sure if there was a difference between the bumpers which would require me to buy different clear bumper light housings.

Thanks for the feedback!

The guys selling the 92-96 have both sets for sale. If you bid on one of these, they will ask for the year of your car.
