Thanks.
But I think ta my fan. They are not coming on at all. I change the switc on the thermo housing. And the thermostat and I even got water pump.
The fans are not working. They turn on when I turn on ac. But that's about it.
I jump the wire yesterday and the fan works
what can I do now? Is it the black box thingy down next to the ecu? (fan module control)

come on guys help me out
my car still over heating. i was heading to school like 30 miles away. the guage shows its over heating, but as soon as i pull over and i turn it off and than back on it goes back to normal operating temperature and drives fine all the way. is it something elelctrical?
i change the sensor on the thermostat already. and there is no leak. and there is significant amount of coolant.
however the fans are not coming on. (does both fan come on or just one)

1 fan is supposed to come on, 2 only come on when you run the A/C.

Does it only overheat in stop and go traffic or is it overheating while you are cruising on the highway too?

Did you do the water pump or a shop? If a shop did it, did you get back your old water pump? I ask because the same thing happened to me. The water pump fins rusted off and one got stuck in my motor and we thought we got them all. Everything ran fine on it but coolant would steam out the overflow. What about heat? Is it hot or colder than it used to be? It could be a blockage in your heater core. If you want to run the fans all the time, run them to acc wire.

it most likely overheating at slow traffic and stop lights. probably cause the fan is not coming on.

sometimes it over heats on the highway but it drops back down quickly
