i was wondering if any of you knew the degree change on your drops. what i need to know is

-what did u use to lower your car
-how many inches you dropped it
-after the drop, how much degree change did u have from stock that u needed to correct?
-what camber kit you used to correct it

thanx in advance.

With a 1.5 inch drop you don't need a camber kit - just get an alignment

Actually this is not entirely true. It really depends on the condition of the rest of the suspension compnents. if your bushings are going bad, Bumpstops are bad, something bent etc, your alignment will be affected and the camber can be thrown off quite a bit. At 1.5" drop you are looking at about -1.6 to -1.75 degrees camber in the rear with the fronts sitting about -1.1/-1.5 That is with good condtion suspension parts. Everyone of my Preludes that I dropped in the 1.5-1.7 range have had something in the range of the above numbers. The allownace is +/- 1 degree front or rear. The stock rear camber is set to about -.5 to about -.75. So your allowable is +1.5 to about -1.75. Even if you are within the limits, I would still get a kit to bring the alignment a little further from the extreme end of variance. The fronts aren't as bad, but they are ususally set at or around 0 degrees camber from the factory with of course the +/- 1 degree allowed. Your best bet is to lower the car, get an alignment and judge your camber kit purhcase off of what the car needs. Ingalls makes 2 kits, one is more geared towards etxtreme drops while the other is not.

thanx for the very descriptive reply i actually bought the eibach camber kit which provides +-1.5 degrees today. i dont plan to make a big drop especially with the body kit i will be putting on so i will most probably be within range. i didnt want the +1.75 to 3.00 because during winter time, i would like to raise my car to stock height, maybe even a little higher for the snow. so i think this kit will fit my needs. the ingalls isnt good for me since its only adjustable up to 1 degree then you would have to get a different kit.
