***Defroster works...BUT AIR VENTS DO NOT!***

I have NO A/C. The a/c compressor needs to be recharged.

Problem: My heater works well, and blows well only through the front defrosters when air is selected to defrosters. The air vents (both on each door and center climate control) DO NOT! (when air is selected to any of the FOUR air choices) NOT a single flow of air comes out!

The lever to change the air speed easily shifts from 1-2-3-4.
The lever to change air temperature easily shifts from blue-red.
ALL button lights work through out the climate control.

Blower motor?
Fuse?
Blower resistor?
Any other ideas?

Thank you in advance!

I have researched a little and used noticed these threads were on topic but I still need clarification:

blower fan quit on me

how to fix my heater

Mode actuator is my guess. Make sure everything under the dash is hooked up.

It is NOT the blower motor or resistor.

Possible fuse but it is something to do with the mode actuator.

FAQ: 4Gen Climate Control Fix (flickering lights, non changing vents, sporadic a/c) This worked wonders for me a few years ago when i had the same exact problem.

Mine does the same. Everything looks like it works fine but air only comes out at the windshield. Haven't tried the HVAC resolder yet.

Mine would not change from defrost at all untill i reflowed the board, after i could use all the settings and hear the motor changing the vents. I went so long with not using the center vents that a ton of dust shot out when i first fixed it.
