Dead USDM Climate Control Unit (heat/ac/defrost/etc)

When I first bought my car, the AC never worked but the unit had power and did put out heat and defrost. For some reason now the unit is completely dead and doesn't respond to any button I press on it. (No lights light up on the buttons when I press, no air flows out) I don't have any idea where to even begin on this. Any help would be very much appreciated. It's getting very hard to drive now because my windows fog up like crazy. If I am driving more than 5 minutes my windows completely fog up and I can barely see anything.

(Note: I did use the search function but didn't find any specific information for my problem.)

Search for a post made by me a loooong time ago, a year or so anyways ... I took apart my dash and re-soldered the plugin connectors on the back of the circuit board inside the climate control ... it had a loose connect and none of my lights worked nor did the lower/upper vent buttons ..

works like a charm now.

remove your shifter housing (10 screws), radio (4 screws), and from there you should see how to take it out, i think it's 3 more crews.

you have to be tricky and pretty much sit upside down looking in where you takeo ut the ster0 etc. theres screws underneath and you also need to remove the cable for the temperature control.

Do a search for that old thread I made and it SHOULD give a really loooong description of how to do it.

Ok I did everything in that thread but it still isnt reacting to anything. When I press the defrost button (the one by itself) i hear a click like its behind the steering wheel..not sure what that is. Other than that, nothin else happens. If anyone can give me any other hints to getting this fixed it will be very much appreciated.
