DC Sports vs. Tanabe cat back exaust for 4th Gen HELP!

ok...i've done the research and now am looking for opinions to see if people think the extra money is worth the Tanabe exaust versus DC Sports.
here's what I've got: (95 Si)
AEM CAI
DC Headers

Will the DC cat-back match up better since I'm doing DC Headers?
I'm looking for the one with the most power for the buck$ and a deep, throaty sound.
Any input or suggestions would be great.

Thanks-

brad

I have a greddy power extreme exhaust and it kicks a$$. It looks nice and it has a nice deep sound. Plus its street legal, which is the best part. This is really important in so cal!!

I have Tanabe hyper and i love it. It sounds has a very nice deep tone but not loud at all. It fits very well and doesnt hang too low. I seen some other exhaust that hang too low in the middle of the car and it scrapes.

I'm very glad to hear that H23Lude.... The Tanabe Hyper Medalion is the exhaust that I'm planning on putting on my 92 Si in a couple months.

Which Tanabe were you looking at?
IMO, the GPM looks and sounds the best.
However, I bought the DC for $100 less and it's full stainless.

With only the DC Ceramic header and the DC catback, I dyno'd at 149hp/150ft lbs.
Do a search if you want to see the dyno plot.

dyno tests...

I went ahead and got the DC Sports. I did some more research and couldn't find much evidence to justify the extra money for the Tanabe.

thanks for the comments everyone!

I have a DC, everyone who has heard my car said it was very quiet. It hangs really high, so I'm not really afraid of scraping. It doesn't buzz or rattle, just a nice deep tone, not as loud or deep as a GReddy PE. If you're hold the throttle steady, you can't even hear it, but it does scream at WOT though. As for the performance, I don't know how it compared to stock. I bought the car with the exhaust already on. After about 4 years or so the exhaust still shines like it's new.

i personally think tanabe's catbacks are too ****in loud and for my taste imo. ive heard the dc sports isnt too loud but has a nice sound. and greddy also has a nice deep sound, but nothing compares to RS*R but it will be a quest to find one of them

A little off topic

If you can still find one . . .I have the Apex'i dunk catback and everyone that rides in my car compliments the nice, deep and reserved tone of the system.
