dont know if you got ripped off or not, but yea its just alittle adapter that raises the point of where the transmission cable connects to your shifter, it doesn't include a shorter shifter

sucks!

I got one a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to putting it on today and was disappointed.

All it is is a small billet bracket adaptor that shortens the throw.
Mine hit the front part of the boot bezel no matter how I moved it around so I'm returning it...

There is some shaving of the bezel invloved, I know, I got a real one and this is what I had to do. It fits better on the 94-96 console, that's probly what it was designed after, I just cut away the rim under the shift boot and no more rubbing. I think it's a cool little mod, I like it...good luck

i just saw that shifter on ebay today. it's not the same company. the company that makes that shifter is DCSports.... DC Sports is completely different, from what i gather. one american, one japanese.
DC Sports short shifters, like this one,

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/spiderac...por19prel.html

retail for about 109.00...at least at that company, lord only knows how much at other places.
