DC Sports headers not worth it !

I am probably going to get flamed for this but I just sold my Dc Sports headers to a friend and I think I actually like it better without them. I like the sound better (quieter) and the power curve feels more even. I think I lost some bottom end with the headers even though I gained some top end. Now I only have a short ram intake and an exhaust. The guys at the exhaust shop thought my buddy was buying the high flow cat off of me too so they just welded a straight pipe in. Will I regain even more low end power if I put the cat back on? Or should I leave the test pipe?

Even with the headers I was well inside the slowville city limits. I just wanted more peece and quiet.

Eh. My headers make the car sound sexy as hell. But to each their own

My header did nothing to change my exhaust note. It's not any louder, well, not that I've noticed. I also did pick up a bit of HP from it too, I run better at the drag strip than I did without it.

My exhaust doesnt sound too different I believe, but everyone says my motor, when I'm beside them and going, is the loudest f'in thing in the world.

and a sexxy throttled loud.. not whine.

when i put my dc on the whole motor felt smoother and revved cleaner. It didnt change the exhaust note except above 5G when it sounds nice and beasty. Its all about the top end pull!
