DC Sport Muffler

Is the DC Sport muffler a good muffler? I can get one for $45 slightly used in perfect condition so let me know if its worth it. I looked online but i can't find too much info and reviews...

why just get a muffler when you can get a whole catback system? sorry to say, most DC products for the prelude are crap

I have a full DC sport cull catback system on my lude. The original owner installed it. IMO, it's a great system. I can't talk about performance increase as i've never driven the car with the original exhaust. But it hangs very high, so I rarely ever scrap. The sound is very quiet at low revs. But will scream when you open it up. It's not buzzy or whiney at all, but it's not a low rumble like the GReddy's either. I'm very happy with it, but I would much rather have an exhaust that sounds stock.

I have a DC Sports stainless catback, DC Sports DAC intake and DC Sports ceramic coated headers on my car, all the parts about 10 years old, and no problems at all. I purchased/installed each item seperately and I could feel a definite improvement with each addition (with my finely tuned- and toned- butt dyno).

Other Honda owners have asked me about my exhaust because they liked that it has a deeper tone than a lot of others, and it sounds awesome at WOT. Since it is polished stainless all the way back, there is no worry about rusting, and the finish still looks great. I also like the 4" rolled tip- IMHO it has a more "finished" look than a straight-cut tip, but I know everyone has their own opinion on cosmetic stuff.

DC Sports' stuff has been good to me for this long, so I can't complain a bit.
