Dash tweeter size?

Crutchfield gave me a whole bunch of random aftermarket tweeters, but I'd rather have the tweeters mounted in their OEM location, on the dash. Some stupid kid before me mounted these stupid little tweeters on the dash...like seriously? Do they make aftermarkets that will fit those two spots, I mean customizing wouldnt be a big deal, as long as i can use the stock Tweeter Covers. I couldn't find any DIY's on this subject, or I was just not searching corectly. Thanks in advance.

~-~EDIT~-~ So I just found a DIY....I'm stupid...Don't pick on me >.<...

Most aftermarket speakers do no fit with out some modification. You just have to get creative to make things fit.

Ya I'm real anal about my audio lol. I was thinking about going with the kenwood eXcelon component kit, which has the 6 1/2's and tweeters, but the crossovers are external. I really don't want the xPlod 6x9 that came in the back. ebay or kenwood's website don't sell single 6x9's lol

So far I have been able to fit 2 different aftermarket tweeters in the dash. Currently have Alpine SPR-176A components. They're a few years old. Had to get make spacers for the doors, but the tweeters fit fine in the stock dash location with the original brackets. Stuck the crossovers behind the tweeter covers.

There's plenty of room back there to make your own bracket if the stock bracket doesn't work
