For those of you who have in dash tvs im just wondering if the screen clears the bottom of the climate control(bad explaination) when the TV comes out from the deck, or do I need to place it in the bottom DIN or is the top sufficient for clearance, thanks for the help I just got a new indash tv and want to know this before installing it

I don't know of any in dash tvs that wouldn't cover the climate controls with the tv in the upper din location. I have a pyle in dash tv above my Pioneer head unit so i can control the sound through the better sounding pioneer... the tv covers the climate controls but not the vents, no big deal for me though, it's so hot down in the deep south that i have my AC on with the fan on full blast 95% of the time anyway so there is nothing to adjust. If you do need to adjust something real quick you could always just tilt the screen a little. If you are installing this screen by itself, it would clear the climate controls in the bottom space, but i think the view wouldn't be as good in the lower position and possibly the shifter would obstruct view too, I would recommend it in the top space, i'll try to get some pics on here before long.
