Dammit..the curse has returned..I need help baaaad

So I drop my lude off to have the coolant flushed for the winter. Yadda yadda..I pick it upand I'm driving home on the highway..I smell coolant burning..so I check it ou..no probs. keep driving like 20 mins later my temp gauge shoots up to bright ass red..I have never seen my gauge hit this..so I pull over..bam the car dies.. I'm like WTF.

Come to find out the bastered at the shop tried forcing the wrong size drain plug bolt into my new radiator and they striped the hole. Then they tried to rig it with some super goop. Long story short all the fluid drained out..and I blew my head gasket.

The shop said they would replace it and tap a new hole into my radiator w/ new bolt. But do I trust them?

So I heard a thicker head gasket can raise compresion..is this true? if so where could I find a thicker gasket?

second should I just bring it to the dealer to have it done and let the fvckers cover the bill?

a thinner head gasket will raise your compression, not thicker. if the shop will cover you going to the dealer then hell yeah do that of course

Make the shop replace the radiator not fix it. I would take it to a Honda dealer and have them check over the entire engine, you probably have more damage than just a blown head gasket.

i would have to agree with jgprelude. the radiator was fine before and then they f***ed it up. then they do a ****ty fix job and let you screw up your motor. i would have the complete motor checked, include anything you can, even compresion test. make sure everything is close to proper running order(i dont know what year or miles you have on it, so it will have some wear).but you should get everything fixed by someone else, make sure they pay for it, dont let them come within 20 feet off it, try to get something for all your b.s. trouble, and be ready to kill someone for messing up your baby. thats just bad buisness to let a crappy tech. work on someones car and screw it up that bad.

its like,
Billy: oh crap Earl i just drilled into the oilpan on accedent.
Earl: oh just patch it up with some bondo and hope he dont notice.

thats not right. f*** those D***s , if you have to take them to court, geting head gaskets done arent cheap

P.S. you would put a thicker head gasket on there if you wanted to put a turbo on it, just something to think about.
Hope everything works out for you

you ricers suck. you know what the f*** i meant when i said do a compresion test and you just had to run your mouth. im sick of all yall trying to prove everybody wrong. i meant do anything he could to make sure the motor was still in good shape. if ya have to check it after the head gasket is done.

Re: Dammit..the curse has returned..I need help baaaad

first off,
To put in a new radiator is not that hard its just a pain in the ass. I know cause I did it this last weekend and I am a girl. you unclapm hoses take the fans off, put the fans on the new one put the hoses back on and fill with coolant.

I would definately go to the dealer, and have them fix everything, who knows afterwards you could ask them to do a dyno just to make sure everything is alright.
