anyone know what I can expect to replace cv joints? my cars lowered so I think thats why there so bad. got a 93 vtec if that makes any difference on the price for the job. thanks all.

eff CV joints just buy NEW axles, not refurbs. I would expect to pay $60 per axle at a shop.

Auto Zone tried to charge me $99 per side today... At first they said $65 and then I looked and they put 2.2 Liter, I told them I have a 2.3 manual tranny and when they put the correct engine/tranny combo, they showed up as $99 bucks. I told them hell no and left. Make sure they put in the correct motor and tranny at the counter or if you order it online just be sure you have the correct one. Brand new for about $72 bucks I think they are is a great deal and worth it instead of Refurbished ones.

One more question Rayslude... Which brand of CV Axle is best to get on that site? Is one brand better than the other or preferred over the other?

I cant remember which one I got...

I am about 8 miles south of Ballantyne. Providence and 485 aren't that far away from me.

right about $75-$100 bucks a piece but about what in labor? maybe $200-$300?
