1800? that must be a very bare system. the kits you can buy are complete for a reason, without that other ish't you'll blow up or ruin something.

1800 you say...figure 750-900 for t3t4 ballbearing. 500-700 for manifold. and wut 3-400 for intercooler? that only leaves you with at most 250 for all the other goodies.

yo on a different tip. you have the phantom grip right? how is it so far? how many miles and how many runs?

it's possible, but we're talking BARE BONES turbo kit. go buy a turbo manifold, find a used t3 turbo in good condition w/ internal wastegate w/ a 5 or 6psi spring. then find a shop to do the custom downpipe & piping to the throttlebody. for fueling, you can get used vortech fmu's on ebay. and you can also find used inline fuel pumps out there. to upgrade your ignition, get an msd 6btm and some colder spark plugs. you can use an old mitsubishi starion intercooler, (in good condition of course) if you want to have one, it's not essential.

that would give you a working, cheap kit. but with only the bare essentials. turbocharging is no simple task though. realize this and do your research. do A LOT of it. we've got a forced induction forum here on the board that you could learn a lot from. do some searches on the board and online. get yourself a copy of "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. it's got TONS of information about turbocharging. good luck & have fun.
