curious about heat shields on h22's - Honda Prelude Forum

since i just bought a jdm h22, at the place they had like 6 jdm h22's

i noticed that some had the regular "silver" metal heatshield and the one i happen to pick out has a black heat shield

is there any significance to this?

btw thanks for billy and red92si for the great writeups.......i've been reading them these past few days before swap and i hope it is as easy as yall have made it sound, i hope i can successfully change over the coil, wire vtec, etc

Probably not.. someone I'm guessing just painted it black..

hmm i dunno...........if they did, they did a really good job....almost looks stock
