i bought my Lude in the spring of 2004 and finally got my cup holder fixd tonight after i found this thread.
it was easy, all u hav to do is to cut it just right... not too long not too short.
i used one of the clips from the clothes hanger outside. it works! its strong enough to hold the cup holder in place.
i waited six years just to fix it.
wa hahaha.
ps; i just bought Kenwood kdc-x991 with SRS WOW HD used from ebay for my car and it sounds incredible! $175 w/free shipping.
