creaking exhaust

I just put on my RS*R and when removing the rubber things that connect tha hangers I used wd40. I think this lead to them still being somewhat lubricated. Not I can hear squeeking noises from my exhaust moving. How can I get rid of this

Maybe it's something else

Is your car lowered? On my friends car, after he installed his springs/shocks....his exhaust hanger was rubbing on what i believe to be the e-brake cable. This is just something to look for. Do you only get this noise just over bumps? Get a friend to rock the back of your car...while you try to pinpoint the sound. Im guessin if its the wd40, the sucka should dry out eventually. good luck with it.

I am hoping the grease dries out and it goes away. I'll check tomorrow to see if its contacting anything.

my exhaust touches a part of the bolt on the sway bar, so when my engine idle goes down it shakes the exhaust and it hits the part in contact so annoying grrr, and it does it sometime when i accelerate too

Fixed the problem. The heat sheild above the piping was touching so when the exhaust moved at all I got a greak shreeeeek noise. A quick bend back and my problem was fixed.
