crazy irratic idle after warm up

OK so this is my first post here, so i have a 1994 prelude h22a1 with a crazy and new idle issue. when the car is cold it will idle fine and then once it is warmed up if i dont touch the gas it idles fine but once i have touched the gas pedal it starts jumping between 1k-3k rpms. if i slowly apply some throttle and very slowly let off it will sometimes idle normal.

These are things i have done so far to remedy the situation.
*cleaned and inspected iacv
*replaced fitv
*replaced and inspected vacuum lines
*replaced distributor
*cleaned egr

Im at a loss every body, somebody please help, this car is about to cost me my job

The IACV is bad, cleaning it does nothing if it's bad, get a new one from Honda since I wouldn't dare spend $250 on an aftermarket one that wont last. You'll also need the figure 8 gasket of course for it as well.

Had the same problem with my engine not long after swapping, put IACV from my H23a1 and has had a normal idle ever since.

Most of the time too you wont even throw a CEL for the IACV unless you unplug the electrical connector, mine didn't throw a CEL. The last 2 things you tried you totally wasted money on, especially the distributor since Honda distributors can be rebuilt for much less than buying a new one.

well, my distributor was linked to another issue, had a bad cyl 1 position sensor. also i only paid for a new gasket for my egr, i do all my own work so no labor fees, and i work at oreillys so great parts prices. so is there any other cars iacv that i can put on for a test run or is it all prelude only?

An Accord of similar year up to like 02 should work just fine as long as it's the 4 cylinder. I'm sure you get good prices but I just don't like aftermarket, never lasts as long as OEM and I work as a tech at the dealer so I get nice prices on OEM. I checked too on OEM vs aftermarket for the IACV and it came out so close that I wouldn't get the aftermarket, especially when the OEM comes with a better warranty.
