Crankshaft scraper - Practical? Possible?

i was just dwelling on some ideas and i came up with one. is it possible to make a crankshaft scraper for a prelude? would it be feasible? im not sure if hondas even have a windage problem but if so it would make a couple of horsepower maybe. what do you think?

There was someone who was making one, I don't remember who, do a search and you should be able to find it. I think we came to the conclusion that it wouldn't help any significant amount.

yeah, i figured it might not be worth doing or getting unless you are going for a drag racing n/a motor. the way i understand it is that it doesn't do a whole lot until it reaches insane rpms. here's another question, how helpful would a moroso oil pan be? cooler oil temp, and less windage with little oil slosh. would that be worth the price of an oil pan (300-350)

Someone used to sell the crank scrapers. I had a professional racer tell me once that on newer cars there's no real point to scrapers b/c windage isn't a big HP-robber.
