I was taking it off my H23A1 and the plastic part that screws into the block broke!!! is there anyway I can fix these crank position sensor or do I need to buy a new one?
they are $150 at auto zone...bahhhh
As far as I know, it is just a plastic piece used to protect the crankshaft position sensor wire. But go ahead, replace it with a new one.
Happened to me once. Don't go for aftermarket ones, go for original parts and that problem will rise again. At the moment, Honda original prices have gone up by 20% here in Seattle. Must be due to the Japan Quake.
