i have a block thats all apart but thanks to a local machine shop im missing a main cap(that was 5 years ago so cant complain or sue anymore) anyway, i was told i will need new set of main caps a bearings and then get it line bored so im gestimating thats gonna be about $500 at least so my question is can i just swap th crankshaft,maincaps,bearings,girldle from another block to complete mine without the need of any machining done to it? found one really cheap but it has bent rods and little crack on block so can i just make one out of those two by just assembling it? im kinda new to this so any help will be appreciated!
