Cranks but wont start?? - Honda Prelude Forum

My friend has a 92 Honda prelude h23 all stock except for an exaust and intake..They just replace the distributor, wires and plugs..you can smell gas when trying to start it so i dont think it has anything to do with the fuel system..They said that they ran it thru a computer and it didnt throw any codes...what things could cause this to happen???

did it work before u guys replaced the distributor?

Check all connections on the dizzy and check the firing order. Sounds like your problem is a lack of spark especially if the car ran before replacing the distributor.

check for spark by putting one of the spark plugs against the engine and turn the engine over if you have spark then firing order is off
