I driving today and when i came to a light i noticed this sound. It sounded like a cowbell coming from under the car. When i got home i left the car at idle and opened the hood. It sounds like its coming from in the engine or under the engine somewhere. Could it be a bolt or something that broke off and where would it get caught?

The heat shield on my car does a pinging noise kinda like a cowbell after the car has warmed/been driven hard and is then turned off. Maybe one of yours is just loose?
