You will still need your keys...once you have it going, you have to insert your key to the "2" position before you can drive...just make sure you dont leave your car in gear when you park it...

and by bypassing the clutch immobilizer, you're tricking the car into thinking the clutch is depressed. Just incase you didn't understand that.

yup, and as long as you're VERY careful about having the trans in gear, you'll be fine. I personally wouldn't have a problem with it since I never leave my car in gear, BUT the only thing stopping me is I know whenever someone else drives your car (ie, dealership/tire place/etc) they always leave it in gear, and sooner or later, I'm going to forget and push that button, and it ain' t gonna be pretty.

That's why i got a compustar alarm. They have a procedure that prevents your car from being remote started while in gear. So it makes it impossible for your car to be remote started while in gear. It's a very expensive alarm though even though it's almost paid for itself because my stereo wasn't stolen because of it.

^^Clifford also makes an alarm similar to that one. It's called the Solaris....it too won't let the car be remote started if it is in gear.

If you know how to install alarms......it should be very easy to install. But alarms such as the Clifford model and Compustar model which are made for cars with manual transmissions will be harder to installland usually requires somone with advanced skills to install.
