Correct badging?

Just out of curiousity...

Did JDM Preludes ever have 4ws and VTEC? If so, what was the badging like?

I'm swapping an H22 into my 92 Si 4ws and am kicking around the idea of adding a VTEC badge.

They had both, throughout the 4th gen years, and they had the 'badges' (stickers) for both.

So, JDM Preludes were available with 4ws and VTEC...damn, I wish I could get a pic of the rear of one of those...I'm thinking to just place the VTEC badge on the opposite side of the trunk...where the 4ws badge is.

Any thoughts?

Right...I saw that thread, but it doesn't address the issue of correct badging for cars with 4ws AND VTEC.

I'm going to try and find pics of JDM ludes to figure out what the correct badging should be...if anyone knows, please let me know too!

another question, what does the correct SI sticker look like? I am pretty sure it is not the same as the civics... and why do no preludes have the SI sticker anymore is another question!

because they never came with a sticker. a car doesnt have to have its trim level marked with a sticker.

Neener neener neener (see sig)

The USDM never had a 4WS/VTEC car, in any gen, only JDM got the option of both.

That is, unless you wanna swap

I've never seen a JDM Prelude with a DOHC VTEC sticker or 4WS Steering. I see different engine sizes on the back sometimes though.

http://www.webcom.com/wv/prelude/gallery.html

Look at the red 4th gen...it says 2.3l I think.

The European models had the 2.3i decal on the back.

I've seen many preludes here with Sr badging on them in place of where my sticker for 4WS is.

The only vtec 4ws is europe and it was 5gen. They never made a 4gen 4ws VTEC. I think your own your own.

No, they DID make a 4WS VTEC. UK VTEC has one.

Or I'm mistaking his car with LSD instead of 4WS??

Yes there was a JDM Si VTEC4WS.... (JDM gets all the neat stuff...) and yes UKVTEC has one...

The Sr is the Canadian Si... in fact if you do a carfax on some Si ludes it will come back as an Sr/Si... as far as I know there is almost no difference between them...
