Corner light

How do we get our corner lights off?

I know of the one screw the top...but it is held in by another: screw/snap connection or something...

so how does that ***** come off. its too frigging cold out to look for ever and ever in upstate ny now.

thanks

light

just a stick screwdriver or something long in the back of the light, and push real hard and it should come out, but make sure ur pushing it in a place where it wont hurt the light

are you replacing the housings or replacing the bulbs??

I put a folded up shop towel behind where I was prying so I didn't scratch the paint

Clifford, I'm replacing the light only.

So, I guess ill just put a slotted screwdriver down there and push out...and it will just 'pop' out?

I just replaced my corner light bulbs a month ago. The driver side was quite easy. It just slided out easily, but the passenger side got stuck and had to use a screw driver to pop it out. There is a guide pin that holds (and align) the housing and you just need to push the housing straight to the front.

I had to change both mine out a week ago. I just use a flathead with a shop towel in between the light and fender. Pop... its out

Man, why dont people think about getting flammed b4 posting.

thanks for the help, well the cold weather made it alot harder, and therefore breaking the plastic parts that are supposed to 'pop' it off..so that and the fact that the lens is falling off one..how i don tknow; but im getting new ones off ebay.

Mr. clifford, how come your vents next to the headlights have one line in the middle? and mine has two lines? i noticed this earlier but i always just thought jdm ones came with just one line, but there were alot of people with them and they can't be all jdm. so i was thinking maybe 92-93 have one line and 94-96 has two lines? or am i just thinking stupid? haha someone let me know please.
