Core support removal - Honda Prelude Forum

I recently bought a 95 prelude for cheap because of a salvage title. It's been good to me so far just isnt the greatest looking. The core support is all bent to **** and is throwing everything off, the bumper is hanging on by zip ties and although it holds it on it doesnt look good. Does anyone have experience taking out the core support and replacing it? I have looked around for a write up some sort but havent had any luck. Any help would be much appreciated.

I just did this on my DB7 (4 dr integra). and everything is practically the same..

heres the drill bit that i used: 4.99 at harbor freight
Spot Weld Cutter - 3/8" Spot Weld Cutter Drill Bit

also get yourself a 1/8 or 3/32 drill bit to use as a pilot hole.. (this saves your from eating up your spot weld drill bit). I only used 1 bit so far for the old core support, the new core support and the roof..
or you could use this to pilot drill as well, which is what i used this time around
