Coolant Line Removal

whats the best way to remove the 2 coolant lines running through the firewall into the heater core?
They have really annoying clamps on them, and I finally got one of them slid off, but ive been yanking at it for 3 days now and its budged maybe 1/8 inch, i cant even reach to get to where the clamp is on the other hose.

any tips or whatnot? if i loosen all the bolts for the heater core on the inside and then pull from the inside and have some1 pull on the outside should that work at all?

is it easier just to cut them and buy new hoses? if so how much would that be and would it be even more of a pain in my ass to re-connect and re-route the lines......

Did you get this yet? I'm probably a day behind you in doing this to my car. I'll post up results if I get it done before you.

no I still havent gotten it,
ive removed the intake tubing, unscrewed the 3 bolts for the sensors above, i think i may have to remove a lot more though, cuz i also was having a hard time getting any position on the 2 bolts on the firewall into the Heater Core

I take it you've removed the dash and the main dash bar?

I would think that just cutting the lines off would suffice if they really are "glued" onto the heater core.

These are different lines. The evap lines for the A/C are the unit next to the heater. Heater is in the center, then the evap and then the blower. A couple of coolant lines run in through the firewall to provide warmth.

You'd should have the A/C lines drained before disconnecting them.
