180 is fine really. It's a good sign that all cylinders are equal. You say "new engine"... is it rebuilt, or how many miles are on it?

hey thanks for posting

by new i meant its a used jdm one imported by nad auto here in ga hah. its new for my car. i had a h22a1 stock and the other day i was cruising on the highway and i start hearing this knocking sound so i pulled over shut her off. turned her on again and it was worse. a rod most likely went out and it sucks cuz i baby her. I guess the guy that had it before me beat this piss out of it.
anyway they only had 2 h22s in the warehouse and the other one looked ****ty so i went with this one. they did a compression test on it but the engine wasnt warmed up and throttle wasnt fully open. I dont know how much this affects the pressure. They they started it up and there wasnt any knocking so i went with it.
I just hear about people with 200+ psi and it makes me worried that i couldve gotten a better one for the same price..

as long as your numbers are pretty high and consistant, then you are fine.
