Compression and octanes.

Hi fellow prelude owners, just had a quick question. I'm currently running an h22a with a stroker kit installed and bored internals currently I run 93 octane I'm thinking about doing a 110 octane mixture of about 1 or 2 gallons and then the rest as 93 this week. Just wanted to get some thoughts on the idea and if anyone has tried it.

It's not like higher octane increases power, just for anti knock, your compression ratio determines what octane you need to prevent detonation.
