In the past 2 days, females (older ones....) have commented on my car:
1:
I was backing out of my driveway and this lady in the neighborhood says "what kind of Honda is that?" I say, "A Honda Prelude" and smile. She says "is it new?" I saw "No ma'am, it's a '93." She says, "Oh, that's when they were nice looking back then..." I smile and say "thank you" and drive off.
2:
I was parking today at my work, Winn Dixie. This lady comes up and says "sweet looking sportcar there....what kind is it?" I say "Prelude....." she says, "did you pay for it or did your parents? and how did they pay for it?" i say "my parents..." then walked off. obviously this lady thinks that my prelude costs a lot more than $8k....
Yea I was at a gas station once some older guys looks at my car and says nice car whats that got in it a v6? I was like uh no just a 4 cyl. He's like Oh.. Ok...

Haha, get this.. I was detailing my car the other day, some lady (I'd say at in her 50's) pulled up in a 5th gen and walked into my neighbors house. When she comes out I'm just finishing taking the wax off, she walks over and says "Nice 4th gen!" ?!?!?! I was like, wtf? "Thanks!.. Nice 5th gen" "It's a stick right?" "oh of course, and yours" "ah, unfortunately I got a Base with the triptronic, but my last 2 preludes were manual!"
We chit chatted for a bit, and she left.
I sat there in awe for a good 15 min about how some 50 yr old lady could possibly know that much about preludes, and be that interested... it was simply amazing.
I get a lot of comments here and there, all the girls LOVE the 4th gen dash..
One time i was at the drive thro..the hottie that was workin kept stickin her head and looken at my car, staring it down. So i finally pull up and i see her talkin to her friends adn ask me "what kind of car is that, is that an acura??" I'm like damnit its a Honda Prelude!! well she complimented it, gave me my food, and i f0ckin stalled the car!!! Hahah she said jokingly "I dont like it anymore!" man... I havnt been back since

a few people have been impressed when i've told them my car is a 93. last one i remember was my girlfriend's mom. I told her I had over 133,000 miles on the car and she was
haha, wuss, you cant stall after a compliment, if anything give a little extra rev to show off. haha
Yea i get those compliments all the time. I used to deliver pizza and people would always ask why the delivery guy had a nicer car than them. haha
They always ask if it is new. Then when i say its a 92 they get all shocked and say that looks really good. I always tell them it takes alot of work looking like that.
Yea i love the compliments on my car, really makes the whole day better.

You now, this is a great subject because it it so damn true. I've got a silver 95, lowered of course and kept very clean, no wild stuff, and people are always looking, smiling and complimenting. Just last night in trader joes and a clerk guy out of the blue says he say me and my Lude coming out of Home Depot and how great it looked. And all kinds of folks ask what year it is and such. I've heven had guys with those new Mercedes coupes ands such waving. It's like the twilight zone or something.
My favorite time is when I was leaving the bank once and this old guy pulls up in a 67 mustang and complimented my car and said some nice things about it. I got the year of his mustang right too just to show not all people with imports are ignorant and stupid.
the best comment i got was i was at a stop light....
It was an older guy probaby in his 40-50's...
had the music up pretty loud and i looked in my driver side mirror and saw him hanging out his window. so i turned down my stereo and he yells "what kinda car is that" i reply "prelude". He says "wow....very nice looking car" Light turn green and i left...
I also work for a high school... and i'm known as the guy with the "awesome car". i get tons of complements for staff and students, even when it was stock w/ just rims. Last month a few students came up to me when i was at the mall... "hey your the guy with the sweet car"
a lot of people are taken aback when i tell em its a 92. Some people even think its like a 03. Since I have most of my emblems shaved i Guess they dont realize its a Honda hehe.

lol, i've gotta start hanging out at that mall varun.

I had two bosnian guys compliment my ride once, and the weird thing was that they were in a BAD ASS SS Camaro. They caught up with me just to roll their window down and say, "Nice Prelude". It made me feel hella good.
I also get a lot of young women (like in their 20's) that give me compliments. One time I had a girl tell me "your car makes me want to orgasm", then I told her, "yeah, i got something else that'll make you want to orgasm too!"
