Which color of intake should I get?

I have a red prelude and I plan on buying an AEM CAI for my car real soon. Any suggestions on which color I should choose? I was thinking the polished one but I need more suggestions.

Definitely a polished CAI. I have a polished intake on my milano red 4th gen along with a chromed valve cover and it looks great.

You have a polished valve cover too!? I think that would be sweet. I should just do my entire engine in polished. Yeah, I think I will stick with the polished one even though its $20 more.

Sweet! Where in the heck did you get it chromed? Or did you just buy a valve cover that is already chromed...?

Took my cover off and stripped all that black coating off, then brought it to a Harley Davidson shop where it was triple chromed.

it's just depends on what your plan on the set-up, if you go color then get a color one, if you want to go all polish/chrome, then get a polish one

Thanks Andy!

Anything new with the lude lately? I finally took my lude out of the garage today to take it to work............FELT GOOD!

I haven't had a chance to really test my new brakes but there seems to be a decrease in fade and stopping distance. Plus it looks great. Thanks for the tips on install!

Mark

Pretty much taking my time on getting parts for the 5 speed swap. I've got the tranny and other odds and ends. I am looking into an LSD since we are going to have everything torn apart. That's nice on your brakes. I would love to see some pictures of them behind the Giovanna's.

Andy

Definitely go with the LSD if you are going through with the swap. You might as well do it right if your going through with it. I've heard nothing but good things about LSD equipped tranny's.

grlie - I had my cover chromed and my brothers SOHC Del Sol cover chromed. They did it for $300 cash. He cut the cost because we did two and we paid cash.

I later brought my two radiator supports and the AC line support to get chromed. It was 4 small pieces and that costed me $100. Chroming is addactive and expensive.

I like the plain old silver color and stock valve cover. I can't be bothered with stuff that nobody will ever see like that.
