cold air intake system

does anyone know a good cold air intake system... i have a 94 honda prelude vtir, currently i just purchased a K&N air filter with an adapter, however i get minimal gains, and i notice the sound of the car basically sounds just the same i rarely feel any difference. i was wondering weather if i purchased the K&N ca intake system would make a major difference.

thanks guys

No intake is going to make a major difference.

Just stick with that and spend your money elsewhere.

depends on budget, you can spend $50 on an ebay one or $200 on a AEM V2, your choice. If you are to get a true CAI, be sure to also get the bypass valve AEM makes.

Actually it's because the honda's intake was already pretty decent. In my inline 6, the intake doesn't do much more or an exhaust.

There is a difference in poorly designed or restricted parts and well designed parts that are hard to improve on.

No they aren't. They're only going to help a higher horsepower application. The stocker breathes pretty well.

yeah intake is just meant to increase engine response, but only slightly, no real power gains, maybe a few horses. im rockin an ebay pipe (was on car when i bought it) but i bought an AEM dryflow filter to go on the end of it since the other was kinda about to fall apart.
