COLD air Intake Questions....

Hey guys i've just bought a cold air intake and was wondering... what should i do with all those extra holes that was suppose to attach to the stock intake... should i just tape em' tie em' or wut... should i do... is it important to have em' what is the purpose of it....... thanx guys

you mean the tubes? Well depending on your intake...some will attach to it.

Other ones like the vacuum line that runs down to your resonator you will have to plug up (I just patched it with duct tape) or you'll idle funny.

I stuck a screw in the vacuum line. Others use golf tees etc.

Yes i'm referring to those tubes sorry.... there's like two just dangling...... the intake only has one plug for one pretty huge tube the rest are just small... one from the fuel injection i think..... what are the purpose of those tubes....... thanx guys for all the help

One is for idle control I think, they basically let you're ecu know air temp and pressure I think.

The big one you attached is an overflow or something for air to get to the engine...oil also leaks through it..
