Coilovers

Hi guys I was just wondering if anybody had any knowledge of a step by step guide to installing ebay coilovers on stock struts. I recently bought some and was just wondering if all I needed was to remove them and use a spring compressor to remove the stock springs and put the new adjustable coilovers onto the stock struts.

Well being as that may be, I still am in need to know if there is a write up or if that is the correct way to install them.

The only special tools needed aside from what's needed to remove the strut is a spring compressor.

The stock struts will blow out fast on any coil over sleeve.

I dont trust in any height adjustable spring-set-thingys...IMO springs and shocks should be always designed to work together and you cant really get that quarantee exept with full coilovers

That's actually just plain false. If you inspect really good shock / spring combos, will always beat run of the mill coilovers under $1000. Shock dynos prove this. You don't trust or you don't know?

Pretty much a revalve with the right springs outperforms teins, f2, megan, jic, etc.
