coiloverhlep asap!

so i bought some coilovers that are r1 racing. and it said it could be used for either the 92-96 prelude or the 90-97 accord. well i went to have them put on and the shop told me it would raise my car 4 inches but not lower it cus they said they did the front 2.anyone know if they did it wrong or if its really true and i got f*cked? or did the shop put em on upside down as the place that solde the coilover told me they did.

i think they are mess up, cause how can it raise it unless they are stupid, most coil over are much smallers then spring, i;ve seen a R1 coilover for a civic i believe, and it was small ass so as far as raisin it, they prob saw it depress and when they install it only can be adjusted to stock height, if i am wrong sorry

look you can't put them in upside down the spring can go either way, The pirch or should be with the open end towards the top. There is no way to raise the car though even when coiled all the way up it is only stock height. I put on about 10 sets a day at the shop. The shop you went to have got to be the stupidest mofo's I have ever heard of. 4 inch raise hahahahaha lmfao.

I have the R1 coils (wished they still have the duals) but look at my car...did all by myself

Remember their are 2 spring rates - 400lbs on the front and 500lbs on the rear. Also I had to flip the threaded sleeve upsidedown on the front to get it to lower some more.

Nope..but now I have a blown shock up front..another excuse to get me some Koni's. What do you guys think? What shock would give me a good ride comfort and performance with my coilovers?

Thats what I would figure. On my springs the front are stiffer.
