Car lowered. Big thanks to my friend Ben coming over and helping me on the rears. BTW the car looks great, and Im tucking major tire in the front.

Its hard to look good with dents and rusted quarters.

More quality pics tomorrow when its nice and sunny. =)

That thing is going to come out SICK! I love this body style, and it's totally worth it to fix it up.

The people that disrespect honda's and beat the piss out of them deserve to be shot lol.

But I'm going through the same thing you are, lowering, quarter rust, dents, etc with my Accord. It's a pain.

I think you got out lucky though. I have pictures of my car when I got it...SOB had put a full shopping cart wing and body kit on her. Blehh.

Good luck

Don't sweat it. I'm 27 and this thread is an inspiration to me.

My black 95 VTECs right arch is probably only a year behind yours. This past winter was rough for us in the northeast but prob par for you're area. Mine had similar begnnings gold emblems right door speaker damage and all. It's a daily driver work horse and it's a damn pleasure to drive. I try to keep up and upgrade with every repair.

The fourth gen has got to be one of Hondas best designs. It's got some classic sports car lines a wide stance. Nostrils. You never know it may be collectible some day.

Stopped next to one at a traffic light and this guys was in rough shape. The front had obviously been replaced. It didnt look like much but he said he just couldn't take it offthe road.

Glad your keeping one more alive. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Thanks! First time someone has ever told me that I was an inspiration car wise.

Hopefully my attention to detail can some how make this lude stick out from the others when when its pretty much stock.

Im so excited to get started on body work aswell, we already have a date set when we are buying the panels, and a time area when we will start.

Any clean stock lude will stick out plenty on its own, especially a 4th gen. You'll catch people looking.

Buying oem quarters or is a place finally making patch panels? How bout I make a roadtrip and you fix mine too? The rust drives me crazy I might resort to something drastic like marine foam/glass.

Sick rims, man. They remind me of Honda Civic HX rims.

Ok this is after sanding with 600 grit. As you can see the scratches from the grittier sand papers are slowly coming out. The whole point of using finer paper (for those who dont know) every new step is to take out the lines of the previous sand paper. But the wheels are starting to come out nice. Ill take a pic of the finished wheel, and what it used to look like. All I have to do now is wet-sand the wheel with 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000. Then polish it with mothers polisher. I may paint the inside of the spokes gold first.

You def don't seem like your avg 16 year old, especially the ones you may find on here. Keep up the good work man. What are your plans for that pesky rust?

Are those the rotors you bought? Looks like the front rotors you bought are for the Accord, not the Prelude.
