Code 43 help needed

Just triggered a cel code 43 fuel management system after having my Msd ignition and adjustable fpr installed. I've also had the fuel filter/plugs/cap/rotor/timing belt and valves adjusted in the past week. Anyone ever run into this either with or without the msd. Not sure if its a regular thing or not. Any help would be great.

I just replaced the O2 sensor two weeks ago, should have mentioned that with the other items. The techs down here think its related to fuel pressure. Car runs really smooth but once I hit highway speeds or after I've been driving awhile it starts to feel like I'm pulling a trailer. We've tried regapping the plugs which seemed to help, new pump is going in Thurs. which I was going to do anyways not because of this. We're going to try to back off some of the fule pressure to see what happens.

other things I have checked when I threw a 43.

-fuel filter
-fuel pressure reg.
-injectors sticking
-fuel pump
-fuel pump relay

You might want to hook up a fuel pressure gauge on by your fuel filter to see if it holds that constant 40psi after the pump has been turned on.

Funny you say that we ordered the gauge with the new pump, we were thinking the same thing. Fuel filter was changed, adj AEM fpr was just installed. We are going to look into the pump and pressure then take a look at the injectors. Might be time to change them as well, was considering them as a future upgrade but might need to bite it now. Thanks again

also, check connections. in the helms it says to check the connections. I checked my connections and thats all my cel-43 turned out to be. i never saw it again. so yea. course i had a swapped engine so more chance of a loose connection but still, its a cheap thing to try.
