Clutchmasters Vs. ACT I need the real truth, please everyone help!

I have done the searchs and the research but I still can come to a clean cut decission. I need feed back with people who have them. I have the 93 VTEC, and I was looking into the CM Stage 3 or an ACT, but im not sure what one to get. Please help me decide. And also what else do you recomend replacing while the transmission is out, Pressure plate? Thanks

I put in my clutchmasters stage 3 about 3 weeks ago. It is very grippy, but amazingly streetable also. I was afraid it would be too aggressive. I haven't gotten a chance to fully test it out yet, because I hae to wait for not only the new clutch to break in, but also my new motor to break in. I only have a couple hundred more miles to go, I'll be sure to tell you how it feels when racing. As of right now, I love it. I hope that helps! Another helpful hint- I got this clutch off of ebay for $320 SHIPPED. Try there.

If you're looking for the best clutch for your car, RPS is very highly recommended by members on this board. Do a search and you should find some good results.

Why put a racing clutch on your car if your gonna be doing more street driving.....

Centerforce dual friction..... Best way to go imo ...

Very streetable, and will last, but still gives you great gripping ability of your racing clutches.

Not to diss the ACT and CM clutches but I was told that these clutches are basically remanufactured? I was told that only way to go with a aftermarket clutch is exedy. I dont know though since I have not used any af these clutches yet
just my 2 cents
