Clutch swells pretty bad!!! help

Yeah so last night I ran a mustang gt, first run I totally screwed up my clutch. This has never happend to me. I think its because I launched high, then I thought I was spinning the tires, but really my clutch wasent grabbing. I shifted from 1st, to 2nd, to third like this. The clutch dident even make contact.

so after that little experience all you could smell was my car. the guy was like "yeah I think that was your clutch" I was like yeah. I even saw some smoke under the street lights.

But the next 2 runs I ran with him. I think he got me by like a car and 1/2. But I had a full tank of gas.

So can anyone tell me what happend to my car. Should I get a new clutch, and pressure plate?

oh yeah I forgot to tell you that the pedal feels sort of softer now, not as stiff as it was.
