clutch master

i just changed the clutch master about 2 months ago or so. i noticed when i did my oil change about a week ago that the fluid was running low again so i filled it. then today i felt that it wasn't going in gear smoothly again so i checked it and it was low again. could i need another slave?

Do you see any fluid leaking out of either the slave or master? Narrow down where the leak is coming from before changing things. Maybe your new master is faulty.

on the slave it looks damp, so i'm assuming tat could be the problem. i had my dad step on the clutch and there was a big gap between the piece of rubber and the slave. does that mean anything?

I don't know what you mean by "big gap between...". Do you have a pic?

If the slave looks damp, there's a good chance that is the problem. Did you try lifting the rubber boot to see if fluid is collecting inside it?
